San Diego Ballhogs take the field to raise funds for Avila’s leukemia fight

After hearing about eight-year-old Avila’s cancer battle on Facebook, the San Diego Ballhogs decided to organize a baseball tournament in her name.

On Saturday, the teams hit the diamond – with Avila there to throw out the first pitch.
