San Diego Comic-Con and Tourism Authority say Yes on Measure C
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Measure C focuses on the need to expand and modernize San Diego’s convention center.
ComicCon’s Chief Communications and Strategy Officer, David Glanzer and COO at the San Diego Tourism Authority, Kerri Kapich, joined Good Morning San Diego to discuss Measure C and how it affects San Diego.
Measure C says if passed on Super Tuesday will increase the lodging tax, expand the convention center, and fund streets and homelessness programs.
The measure would allow the city to increase the tax levied on overnight lodging guests with a tiered range from 1.25% to 3.25%.
In order to pass, Measure C needs to get two-thirds of the vote in the City of San Diego.
