San Diego cools down as clouds roll in through the weekend

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) — San Diego could see light showers Saturday night as the West coast gets a taste of winter weather. Expect cool, breezy conditions over the weekend.

The marine layer will be slightly deeper Saturday night after a misty start to the day in San Diego. Cooler air is moving in from the north west, bringing temperatures down and cloudy skies in. Most of the wet weather will be happen further North up the coast, out of San Diego County.

Coastal areas will hold in the mid-to-low 60s through the weekend, holding in that range through next week.  Inland areas will only be slightly warmer. The mountains will be in the 50s, while the desert areas will hover around the mid-70s.

The skies will be filled with clouds over the next few days as San Diego cools down in December.
