San Diego County Basketball Coaches Association 2015 Senior Girls All Star Game
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Horizon Christian Academy hosted the 2015 San Diego County Basketball Coaches Association CIF San Diego Section Girls Basketball Senior All Star Game on Friday. San Diego County’s top senior girls basketball players took the court for the last time as prep athletes.The North lineup included Sierra Claudio of Poway, Rachel Dumiak of La Costa Canyon, Christina Ellis of Torrey Pines, Ali Engelhardt of Mt. Carmel, Cheyenne Ertz of Mission Hills, Megan Franke of Santa Fe Christian, Nyjeeiah Ganan of Horizon, Macy Gipson of Westview, Lauren Hecker of Mission Hills, Roshell Lamug of Mission Hills, Joely Lemker of Mt. Carmel, Madison Lombard of Torrey Pines, Katrina Lusky of Calvin Christian, Katherine Mauldin of Ramona, Melanie Quijano of Horizon, Taylor Pierce of La Costa Canyon and Julia Pihl of Rancho Buena Vista.
The South team roster consisted of Bailey Albers of West Hills, Zaria Branch of Mt. Miguel, Nia De la Pena-Thompson of Our Lady of Peace, Aitana Garland of Kearny, Shirah Hancock of Helix, Amree Harrison of Mt. Miguel, Deajanae Harvey of Granite Hills, Alyjhah Kennedy of Serra, Sarah Mosser of Cathedral, Isalys Quinones of Otay Ranch, Kristina Sellona of Mater Dei, Briajunae Shepard of Helix, Catherine Smedley of Cathedral, Brianna Smith of Kearny, Kianna Taite of Mira Mesa, Quinesha Vanhook of Eastlake and Mikaelah Wieland of Montgomery.
The game itself belonged to the North squad, who won by a final score of 113-61.
Christina Ellis of Torrey Pines was named the North’s MVP.
