San Diego Farmers’ Market feature: Simpli Nay’s Way

LITTLE ITALY MERCATO FARMERS’ MARKET (KUSI) – Janay “Nay” Singleton started “Simpli Nay’s Way,” bringing her tasty and healthy treats to local farmers markets all over San Diego County.

KUSI’s Kacey McKinnon caught Singleton last week at Little Italy’s Mercato’s Farmers Market selling her snacks.

Singleton started her business during the pandemic, fall 2020 specifically, and is still going strong.

Her business’s motto is “Custom Cookin’ for Healthy Lookin’.”

Owner and Founder Singleton joined KUSI’s Logan Byrnes on Good Evening San Diego to discuss her business.

KUSI’s Kacey McKinnon also spoke to Janay in Del Mar to learn more about her story.

You can find Simpli Nay’s Way at the North Park Farmers’ Market on Thursdays from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., and at Little Italy Mercato’s Farmers Markets on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., and soon, every Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

You can even order her “Kookie Kamutties” online here.
