San Diego Food Bank’s Harvesting Hope Food Drive is collecting donations for families in need

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Stater Bros markets and the San Diego Food Bank are teaming up this holiday season to collect donations to feed local families in need.

KUSI’s Allie Wagner was live at Stater Bros in Carlsbad with the President of San Diego Food Bank, Jim Floros, with more information.

Support the Harvesting Hope Food Drive by:
o Donating a $5 Bag of Hope at checkout
o Donating loose change in the Harvesting Hope coin canisters
o Texting CARE to 80077 for a $5 donation
o Donating nonperishable food items in the Food Bank’s red food drive barrels at the front of the store

The community can also donate online at SanDiegoFoodBank.org Every $1 donated provides 5 meals for families in need.
