San Diego gasoline price falls for 14th time in 15 days

SAN DIEGO (CNS) – The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County fell today for the 14th time in 15 days, dropping a half-cent to $3.893.

The average price is 5.3 cents less than one week ago but 13.9 cents more than one month ago and 90.3 cents higher than at this time last year, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price fell seven consecutive days, was unchanged last Monday, then dropped each of the next seven days, including seven-tenths of a cent on Sunday.

The average price had risen 19 times in the past 20 days before the streak of declines began.
