San Diego health officials call for more resources as Hepatitis A cases rise among homeless

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Hepatitis A cases are on the rise in San Diego County, causing health officials to scramble for solutions.

The latest idea was to provide more bathrooms and hand washing facilities to the homeless so they can keep up their hygiene.

In order to provide the additional bathrooms and hand washing facilities, health officials are calling for more resources and money to fund the program.
