San Diego homeless advocates weigh in on possible federal help

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – The president’s visit to San Diego comes shortly after The White House released a new report on homelessness.

The council of economic advisers places much of the blame on regulations that have driven up housing costs. The report is also critical of homeless shelters.

President Trump commented on the state’s homeless issue during his visit.

KUSI’s Sasha Foo talked to those on the front lines of the homeless issue about what they think of these new recommendations.
