San Diego locals to hike through Patagonia for Multiple Myeloma

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Multiple Myeloma is an incurable Blood Cancer that gives patients less than a 50 percent chance of survival beyond five years.

To help raise awareness for the rare disease, a San Diego couple plans to trek through the peaks and valleys of Patagonia.

Michelle Carlberg, Multiple Myeloma patien, and Jeffery Carlberg, Michelle’s husband, were in studio to tell us about it.
