San Diego looking at ways to help with homeless crisis after yesterday’s tragedy

DOWNTOWN (KUSI) – Yesterday’s tragedy near San Diego City College is shining a brighter spotlight on a longstanding issue — transitioning those suffering homelessness — off the streets and into homes of their own.

Three people died and several others were injured when a car jumped a curb and plowed into an encampment.

KUSI’s Hunter Sowards is live downtown tonight with more on plans to ensure something like this never happens again.
