San Diego Metropolitan Transit System: Elevate SD 2020
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – The San Diego Metropolitan Transit System says they are embarking on a new vision for transit in San Diego and the agency may ask voters on the 2020 ballot for a half-cent sales tax to help pay for transit improvements.
For the first step, MTS set up a Community Advisory Committee, made up of dozens of neighborhood-based organizations in San Diego, will meet tonight.
San Diego City Council President Georgette Gómez and San Diego County Supervisor Nathan Fletcher joined Good Morning San Diego to discuss the new committee.
