San Diego military bases increase security due to heightened tensions between U.S. and Iran
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Even before tonight’s Iranian attacks, American military bases around the world and here in the U.S. were already on heightened alert. That of course includes bases here in San Diego County.
ID checks and increased vehicle inspections, which all means longer lines and different protocol for entering and exiting bases in San Diego County. Military officials here are asking people to prepare for delays.
MCAS Miramar, Naval base Point Loma and Camp Pendleton all used social media to ensure the public of policies in place that could potentially cause delays or change entry and exit plans for travelers.
