Reward doubles for information on Chula Vista dog poisonings
CHULA VISTA (KUSI) — There is now a $2100 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible for the death of three dogs in the Otay Ranch area of Chula Vista. All three dogs were found to have been killed by being fed treats laced with pesticides. A second family discovered their dogs suffering from similar symptoms just six days later. All three dogs died due to the poisonings.
San Diego Crime Stoppers initially offered a $1000 reward for information regarding the case, but owners of the dogs and friends upped the ante with an additional $1100, according to Crime Stoppers.
