SAN DIEGO (KUSI) — An 18-year-old man from Campo was killed in a car wreck on Interstate 8 in East County near La Posta Indian Reservation early Friday morning, the California Highway Patrol said. The driver was on his way to pick up his great-grandmother in Alpine.

The victim’s name was not released.

The driver was traveling westbound on Interstate 8 in his Acura TSX Friday morning when he lost control of the car and crashed into the La Posta Rd. bridge.
