Man killed at Palm City neighborhood Motel

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) — 4/18/2016 — The man shot and killed at the E-Z 8 Motel in Palm City Tuesday has been identified as 28 year-old Raymond Lipscomb. Lipscomb was found shot in the chest at the motel on Outer Road and taken to the hospital where he died a short time later, police said. Police continued to search for a suspect. 

4/12/2016 — A man was shot and killed at a motel in the Palm City neighborhood early Monday.

The shooting occurred at the E-Z 8 Motel on Outer Road near Hollister Street around 1:20 a.m., according to San Diego Police.

The 27-year-old man was found by officers suffering from at least one bullet wound to his upper body and was rushed to the hospital, SDPD homicide Lt. Ray Valentin said. The man died shortly after arrival.

The suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and gray sweatpants and was last seen running away from the area. The victim’s name was not immediately released, pending notification of the family.
