Women robbed at gunpoint in Pacific Beach

PACIFIC BEACH (KUSI) — Two men who robbed two women who were sitting in a car in Pacific Beach remain at large, according to San Diego Police. The crime occurred early Saturday morning. 

The women were parked in the 4600 block of Bayard Street at approximately 12:20 a.m. They were approached by a man who asked for directions when the second man approached the group. The accomplice showed a gun and demanded the women’s purses, according to Sgt. Michael Tansey. 

Both suspects fled the scene on foot, going southbound on Bayard St. toward Emerald St. The first suspect was described as a black male in his late teens.
The gunman was described as a black man in his 20s, wearing a red bandana across his face and a dark-colored jersey with the number zero on the front,
Tansey said
