National City Police seeking suspect who stabbed victim to death

NATIONAL CITY (KUSI) — National City Police are seeking a suspect who stabbed and killed a man in San Diego, police said Sunday. The victim was stabbed in the area of 43rd and Delta St. at approximately 11:30 p.m., but officers found the wounded man in the 200 block of N. Highland Ave. in National City, Lt. Robert Rounds said. 

The victim, 25-year-old Eduardo Ortega, was taken to a local hospital after being discovered bleeding from stab wounds. He died shortly after midnight early Sunday morning. 

Witnesses told police Ortega was fighting with a Hispanic man before being stabbed to death. The suspect was described as a 6′, medium build man that was about 30 years old.
