Weather conditions clear for a beautiful Friday in San Diego
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) — Light rainfall across San Diego County was only temporary as conditions clear for what should be a beautiful Friday and start to the weekend. Conditions have dried after some wet weather started things off Thursday, and clouds are expected to roll back in Friday overnight.
A ridge of high pressure is building off the coast, bringing pleasant weather to the region. High’s across San Diego County should mostly sit in the 64-to-70 range.
The best chance of rain will be Saturday as a storm slides through the area, though San Diego will only see the tail end of it. San Bernardino and Riverside counties will be affected by it, but mountain and desert areas here have roughly a 20 percent chance of rain Saturday.
Temperatures will stay cool along the coast, sitting in the mid-to-low 60’s through Sunday with no chance of rain. Inland temperatures will bounce from a high of 70 on Friday, down to 60 on Saturday before spiking back up to 70 Sunday. Mountain area temperatures will be in the mid-50’s with a slight chance of rain Saturday along with breezy conditions.
