San Diego Parks and Recreation hosts Nature Play: Mud Day

International Mud Day is coming up and the City of San Diego is giving you and your kids an opportunity to get your hands dirty and learn about nature.

Allie Wagner was live at the Golden Hill Recreation Center to learn more about Nature Play – Mud Day, an event put on by San Diego’s Parks and Recreation Department.

Event activities include:
• Playing in the mud
• Learning about animal tracks
• Cooking S’mores in a solar oven
• Creating a fort, walking stick or bird feeder
• Exploring reptiles and nature through a looking glass
