San Diego Police Department unveils memorial squad car

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – The San Diego Police Department unveiled “SDPD Honor 1” Wednesday in front of SDPD headquarters. 

SDPD Honor 1 is a memorial car monument dedicated to all of the men and women of the San Diego Police Department that lost their lives in the line-of-duty.

The inaugural “Ride to Remember will take place on Saturday, May 2, 2015 departing at 9:00 a.m. from San Diego Harley on Morena Blvd, and will visit law enforcement memorials throughout San Diego County, including La Mesa, Chula Vista, Oceanside as well as the U.S. Border Patrol and San Diego Sheriff’s Department.
