San Diego puppy makes it onto Puppy Bowl

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – A San Diego rescue pup was a favorite for “most valuable puppy” in today’s Puppy Bowl.

The young dog named “Bobby” is one of many adoptable dogs that were featured during today’s “Big Game” on Animal Planet.

Bobby, from the Helen Woodward Animal Center, was drafted by Team Fluff to take on Team Ruff.

With a nail-biting finish, Bobby and his Fluffy teammates were able take home the win with a score of 63 to 59.

This year’s bowl featured 96 adoptable pups from over 60 animal shelters across the country.
