San Diego ranks eighth best city for trick-or-treaters
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – A list published Wednesday by the real estate website Zillow ranked San Diego the eighth best city in the United States for trick-or-treating. The list ranked Del Mar Heights as the best local neighborhood for the Halloween fun.
The ranking was created by combining the Zillow Home Value Index of single family residences with crime data, average distance between houses and number of residents under the age of 15. Cities on the list were reported to have the safest cities and neighborhoods to collect candy in, as well as those where children can get the best quality candy in the least amount of time.
Lead by San Francisco, which topped the list for the fifth straight year, the top five were rounded out by San Jose, Los Angeles, Milwaukee and Phoenix.
In San Diego, the Del Mar Heights neighborhood was followed by Carmel Valley, Loma Portal, Carmel Mountain and Mission Hills as the sweetest neighborhoods.
