SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – The San Diego Sockers are teaming up with Traveling Stories to support children’s literacy. Joining KUSI to discuss the details is U.S. Soccer Hall of Famer and Sockers midfielder Landon Donovan and the founder and CEO of Traveling Stories Emily Moberly.

To further support children’s literacy in San Diego, players from the Sockers will volunteer to read with kids at Traveling Stories’ StoryTent program on April 6th at 10 a.m., at the City Heights Farmers’ Market. The event is open to the public. The StoryTent is a free literacy program for children between two and 12 years old.
