San Diego startup completes first electronic Will

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – A San Diego startup, Trust and Will announced that they have closed on a combined $2 million in funding to process legal guardians, wills and trusts digitally.

Recently the startup partnered with Boston-based Notarize to execute the first digital will for Cory McCormick, a police officer in Nevada. Currently Nevada is the only state that allows for digital wills, although the legal community is increasingly exploring whether computers are here to stay.
