San Diego teen creates a web app to help find food banks during COVID-19 pandemic

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – A San Diego teen recently created a web app where individuals financially struggling from the coronavirus pandemic can find food banks near them.

Sebastian Carbonero said he created this app because he personally knew people who are financially struggling and are in the need of food; especially during these harsh times. “So, I thought it would be nice if I could help people like them from the coronavirus pandemic,” said Carbonero.
