San Diego to see mild temperatures for the weekend

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) — The weather is still mild for San Diego but before next week a trough of low pressure moving in is will cool temperatures.

San Diego is experiencing strong onshore flow Friday. A marine layer has moved all the way inland as onshore flow increased across San Diego Friday. The marine layer is expected to clear for inland areas mid-day but the coast will continue to see fog for most of the day.

The mountains and deserts are expected to see strong winds over the next few days, with some gusts reaching 40 miles per hour.

Friday will see mild temperatures for coastal areas. 74 degrees along the coast, 83 degrees inland, 81 degrees in the mountains, and 106 degrees for the deserts.
