San Diego Unified School District’s State of the District Address

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – The San Diego Unified School District is hosting the 2019 State of the District Address on Tuesday, November 19th.

San Diego Unified School District Board of Education President Dr. Sharon Whitehurst-Payne and Superintendent Cindy Marten will deliver the annual address. They will report on the district’s accomplishments, outline goals for 2019-2020, and discuss their vision for public education in San Diego.

A special reception prior to the address will include student exhibitions from schools throughout the district. The program will also include musical performances by students from Lincoln High School, and Crown Point Jr. Music Academy.
