San Diego Unified students participate in Hamilton Education Program

San Diego Unified students participated in the Hamilton Education Program Wednesday.

More than 900 San Diego Unified High School students were selected to participate in the Hamilton Education Program. Through a partnership between Hamilton the musical, local donors, and the Gilder Lehrman Institute, San Diego Unified Students will get a VIP glimpse of the award winning musical.

The program offers 11th grade students in American History classes exclusive participation in the program, which combines founding era classroom resources, document-based student projects, and a special student matinee showing at the San Diego Civic Theatre, along with a Q&A with the cast. Members of the media are invited to interview the teachers and students chosen to participate in the program.
