Memorial Day weekend weather across San Diego County
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) — San Diego will have cool weather through the Memorial Day holiday weekend. Beach water temperatures will be in the mid-to-upper 60s for Memorial Day weekend, making for pleasant conditions for beachgoers.
Coastal temperatures will be in the upper 60s through Memorial Day weekend and heading into the Monday holiday. Cloudy, "May gray," conditions will persist through the week, but rain is not expected. Temperatures will warm up as next week progresses.
Inland areas will hold in the low 70s through the weekend before warming up into the high 70s by next Friday. Anticipate cloudy skies here as well, and there’s also no rain projected away from the coast.
Mountain areas could see rain over the weekend but clouds will disperse by Monday. Sunny skies are projected in the mountains, with temperatures in the 70s next week. The desert will be heating up, hovering around 90 degrees through the weekend before breaking 100 degrees as early as Tuesday.
