San Diego woman aboard Air Canada flight that crashed
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – A 31-year-old woman of San Diego was flying home Monday night who was aboard the Air Canada passenger jet that slid off the runway in Nova Scotia.
Treasure Addis-Mills works for the San Diego-based life sciences firm ResMed and was traveling on business to the city in the Canadian Maritimes when the Airbus A320 struck a radar antenna and clipped power lines after it touched down short of the runway.
Around 25 people, including two pilots, were treated for minor injuries.
Addis-Mills’ husband, Jeremy, said he was unaware of the crash when his wife called him.
When he finally saw photos, he said he fully understood the severity of the situation his wife endured.
Jeremy took to Twitter, saying his wife was, “tired but alive and doing well.”
Treasure is on her way back to San Diego.
