San Diego Zoo’s Yaycation

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Take a remarkable excursion into the San Diego Zoo’s annual spring event this year.

Yaycation will include special daily activities and animal experiences for the whole family—each one highlighting a different location at the Zoo.
Daily entertainment—including San Diego Zoo Rock Radio and animal experiences, with special appearances from Dr. Zoolittle—will showcase a variety of the Zoo’s animal ambassadors.

The Zoo’s costume characters will provide memorable photo opportunities. Our iconic animal ambassadors will educate visitors at Wegeforth Bowl during their “Wild About Animals” show.

Yaycation activities started March 24 and run through April 8, 2018—and they are included with admission to the San Diego Zoo. KUSI’s Allie Wagner was live at the zoo with Dr. Zoolittle learning more about the Yaycation.
