Mira Mesa Marauders 42, San Pasqual Golden Eagles 21

The first week of play offs come to an end, unfortunately one team has to end their season and one will continue to play for the championship. The visiting San Pasqual Golden Eagles took on the home Mira Mesa Marauders. Mira mesa came out on top with a final score of 42-21.
Noah Tumblin continues to play his best football, coming out strong in the first quarter and maintaining to stay consistent through out the game.
In the first quarter, Josh Poston found the end zone on his 20 yard touchdown pass thrown by Tumblin. The Golden Eagles answered back right away when Shawn Carter ran for 49 yards after a hook and ladder was produced by Trevor Jungman.
In the second quarter, Elijah Lynch and Noah Tumblin found the end zone, setting the tone for the rest of the game. After half time, the Marauders were able to put up 3 more touch downs to take the victory of the night.

The football fun continues this week, The visiting San Pasqual Golden Eagles (6-4) will hit the read to take on the home Mira Mesa Marauders (7-2). However, this week is the start of play offs, meaning there is a championship on the line. If this isn’t motivating enough, the teams are highly likely to come out and play there best football. The game will kick off on Friday November 2nd, at 7pm. This game is a part of the 2018 CIF San Diego section football Division II Championship tournament. 

The Golden Eagles (6-4) finished third in the Valley League, and will take on the highest ranked team in the division this Friday. They are coming off of a win coming into playoffs, and had great success both on offense an defense. If they carry the momentum of last weeks game into Friday, they should put up a great game. 

The (7-2) Marauders are coming off a 3 game winning streak and leads the division coming into playoffs. The whole season this team has put up over 20 points offense every single game they have played this season. The offense of the Marauders is dominating and can be a huge threat to their opponent. Its obvious that the offense stays consistent in producing, but if they put it all together they will have great success in this years play offs.
