Satellite voting locations open this weekend in San Diego

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Voters will get an opportunity to register and cast their ballot at five locations across the county starting Saturday through Election Day.

They include the Registrar of Voter’s office in Kearny Mesa and four satellite locations in San Marcos, Carmel Mountain Ranch, Spring Valley and Chula Vista.

Michael Vu with the Registrar of Voters stopped by Good Morning San Diego to explain why satellite voting locations are important and what people need to know before they go.
