Saved in America debuts new mobile command center

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Runaway and missing children are highly at-risk of being trafficked as the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children estimates that 1 in 7 runaways were likely victims of sex trafficking.

Former police detective Joseph Travers started Saved in America in 2014 and stopped by Good Morning San Diego to discuss the new Mobile Command Center will help in aiding multiple recoveries at the same time to allow one central point of communication and a central point to pull all electrical gear to accomplish operations.

Since 2014, the San Diego-based organization said it has assisted law enforcement in locating more than 200 missing children.
