Saved in America’s 3rd annual fundraising dinner

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Three thousand to 8,000 children are trafficked every year in San Diego County, meaning they are sold into the sex trade.

A nonprofit headquartered here in San Diego helps rescue those children with the help of former Navy Seals and private investigators to do it.

On Thursday, Nov. 7, Saved in America is hosting a fundraising dinner in La Jolla.

Joseph Travers, Executive Director at Saved in America, was in studio to tell us more.
