Scout Bassett doesn’t let challenges slow her down
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Running through seemingly insurmountable challenges, one young woman is on her way to the Paralympics Games in Rio de Janeiro with the help of San Diego’s Challenged Athletes Foundation.
Scout Bassett started running when she was barely a teenager.
She doesn’t slow down, except to share her compelling story.
Scout is a four-time ITU Paratriathlon Championship Medalist and a four-time Paratriathlon National Championship Medalist.
She just graduated from UCLA.
Her next stop is the World Championships and then on to Rio in 2016.
