SD Police Searching For Man Who Sexually Assaulted A Woman

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – San Diego police Sex Crimes detectives are searching Sunday for man who sexually assaulted a woman early Sunday morning in Ocean Beach.

The attack happened about 2:10 a.m. in an alley near the 1800 block of Bacon Street, police said.

According to police, the woman was walking up the street when a man grabbed her and dragged her about 30 feet into the alley. The suspect hit the woman in the face, threw her to the ground and sexually assaulted her. After the assault the suspect ran from the scene in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as white, 25 to 35 years-old. He stood about 5 feet 10 inches tall and was very thin, police said.

The suspect had short hair or was balding and had a well-trimmed red beard. He was wearing a dark sweatshirt and blue jeans.
