Hundreds of people in North County were without power

VALLEY CENTER (KUSI) – SDG&E shut down power to more than 300 customers in North County because of dangerous fire conditions Monday.

Officials say the shut down was for the safety of those residents. Power is expected to be back running to all its customers late Monday night. Initially, officials estimated power would be restored Tuesday the 16th.

KUSI’s Dave Scott was live in Valley Center Monday afternoon, detailing the long day locals had in North County.
