SDPD ask public to help identify sexual assault suspects

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Police are reaching out the public to be their eyes and ears as they search for these two suspects.

In Ocean Beach, police say a woman was walking up the street when a man grabbed her and dragged her about 30 feet into an alley near the 1800 block of bacon street.

The suspect hit the woman in the face, threw her to the ground and sexually assaulted her. After the assault the suspect ran from the scene.

The suspect is described as white and to be 25-35 years old.

He stood about 5 feet 10 inches tall and was very thin.

The suspect had short hair or was balding and had a well-trimmed red beard.

He was wearing a dark sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Next we go across town to City Heights. A woman was taking out the trash in the alley of 3500 van dyke avenue when the suspect used one hand to grab the victim around the neck and throat.

With his other hand the suspect held a knife to the right side of the victim’s face.

The suspect forced the victim to walk a short distance and sexually assaulted her.

He left running southbound through the alley.

The suspect is described as being a black male, 25-35 years old, and about 6-feet in height with an average build.

The suspect had long dreadlocks which came down to his chest.

The suspect was well groomed, had a goatee, possibly had an earring in his left ear, and had a very deep voice.

Police want to remind everyone, especially women, be aware of your surroundings.
