SDPD fires 11 officers for misconduct

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – The San Diego Police Department fired eleven officers for misconduct over the last fiscal year.

Chief Shelly Zimmerman said that it was one example of the departments strict new conduct policy and efforts to hold police officers more accountable. 

The names of the officers have not been released.
