Missing 69-year-old woman with dementia found

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) —  A 69-year-old woman who suffers from dementia was found Wednesday after going missing during a morning walk in San Diego the day before.

San Diego police reported that Susan Claire had been located. She went missing between 7 and 8 a.m. Tuesday after leaving her residence at 8757 Jade Coast Drive for a walk, but never returned, according to San Diego police.

Claire did not have a cellphone or a bus pass at the time she went missing and was not familiar with the area, police said. 

The San Diego Police Department thanked all who helped to locate Claire.
