SDSU’s Dance Marathon to give back to children battling cancer at Rady Children’s Hospital

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Dance Marathon at San Diego State is the largest philanthropic organization on SDSU’s campus, raising money all year long for the children battling cancer and other life threatening illnesses at Rady Children’s Hospital.

This year being the event’s sixth year, the organization hopes to raise $365,000 in honor of the kids who fight all year long.

Since 2015 Dance Marathon at SDSU has raised over $1 million for the kids as well as broken records and become recognized as the largest and most successful Children’s Miracle Network Dance Marathon on the West Coast.

The event is a night full of dancing, entertainment by on campus organizations, delicious locally donated & catered food and beverages, sharing of family stories from Rady and much more! The dancing begins this Friday, February 21st and runs through the morning of Saturday, February 22nd.
