SDUSD teachers on strike amid overdue contract negotiations

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – The largest local teacher’s union is on the picket lines protesting the San Diego Unified School District this week.

The two sides have failed to come to an agreement after calls for competitive wages entered conversations over one year ago. The teachers are also pushing for more school nurses and counselors.
