Seahorse Coffee Stand in East Village

Accion continues to help small businesses open shop by providing the owners with financial assistance. Ashley Kaye is the owner of Seahorse Coffee. She used to work at Meshuggah Shack, a coffee shop in the former Quartyard location, where she was the lead barista for over two years. Now that the Quartyard relocated just a block away, she had the opportunity to purchase the coffee shop and reincarnated it as Seahorse Coffee. Her Accion loan helped set up the new coffee stand and provided coverage for some start-up costs. She was excited to recently celebrate her opening!
