“Person of interest” arrested in murder of Brittany Killgore

VISTA (CNS) – A Camp Pendleton-based Marine previously considered a “person of interest” in the slaying of a 22-year-old North County military wife was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of murdering her.

Louis Ray Perez, 45, is the second person accused in the death of Brittany Killgore of Fallbrook, who had been missing for four days before her body was found dumped alongside a rural road near Lake Skinner in Riverside County.

Jessica Lynn Lopez, 25, pleaded not guilty to a murder charge in the case last week.
