Senator Anderson sends Governor Brown letter questioning refugee vetting

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Syrian refugees have been a hot topic worldwide, specificaly regarding the safety of nations admitting them in light of recent terrorist attacks.

Governor Brown’s recent statement that Syrian refugees accepted into California would be "fully vetted in a sophisticated and utterly reliable way," prompted Senator Anderson sent a letter to the Governor Friday requesting for a description of the specific steps his administration is taking to ensure that Californians are safe and that the vetting process for those who come to our state has been completed properly.
