Senator Ben Hueso introduces bill that would give tax exemption to veterans

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Between 2000 to 2016, nearly one million military veterans moved out of California taking their retirement pensions with them.

California State Senator Ben Hueso is introducing a new bill to give an income tax exemption for these military pensions to try to keep vets from moving out of the state.

He was in studio to discuss his new measure.
