Senator Bernie Sanders to hold campaign rally in San Diego
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vermont, is scheduled to hold a rally Friday in support of his bid to secure the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination.
The campaign stop is part of a West Coast swing by Sanders that also includes rallies in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
He has also made stops in early primary and caucus states like Iowa and New Hampshire since announcing his candidacy last month.
Sanders will be holding the campaign rally at the Waterfront Park beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The last time Sanders visited California was October 2018 in support of candidate Mike Levin.
