SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – After months of denying culpability and insisting he was the target of a politically motivated prosecution, Rep. Duncan Hunter, pleaded guilty Tuesday to a federal charge of conspiracy to misuse campaign funds for personal use.

Hunter faces a possible five-year prison term and a $250,000 fine when he is sentenced March 17.
